With her legs taped with Kinesio Tex® Tape, Serena Williams retired during her match versus Justine Henin. Serena has battled nagging leg and knee injuries through out the season and has turned to Kinesio Tex® Tape to help relieve some of the pain. Serena underwent surgery on her left knee in 2003 and in 2006 missed 10 matches do to further complications with the same knee. She is currently ranked 7th on the WTA Sony Ericsson Championship Tour after falling from 5th after last weeks match. |
