Heather Murray - PhD, PT, CKTI

Heather received her Ph.D. (Anatomy) from the Medical College of Virginia in 1974. She graduated from the Division of Physical Therapy at the University of New Mexico in 1984. Heather has worked in a variety of orthopedic settings, including her own private practice. In 1995, she re-joined the faculty at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, the Division of Physical Therapy, where she teaches courses on Human Anatomy and Neuroanatomy for physical and occupational therapy students. Heather has lectured nationally and internationally on Kinesio Taping. She has been awarded a research grant from APTA to conduct a research on "Increasing Range of Motion and Strength following Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Repair" using Kinesio Taping.
