Graceann Gommer Forrester - PT, DPT, CKTI

Gracie earned a Bachelor's degree in science from College Miseracordia, Dallas PA and her PT degree from New York University. She has earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Gracie has been a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor since 2005. As a New York State licensed Physical Therapist, she treats patients of all ages for neuromuscular, traumatic or repetitive motion injuries. While at Finger Lakes Physical Therapy in Ithaca, New York, she developed a program to enhance the strengths and life skills of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. In addition to the outpatient clinic, Gracie provides physical therapy services for a youth correctional facility and a community hospice program. She has taught clinical application classes as an adjunct faculty member for Ithaca College's Physical Therapy program. She has developed adn implemented workshops for central NY industries, focusing on "Promoting a Healthy Back". Internationally, Gracie has offered educational programming to improve transportation and therapeutic positioning of children with disabilities at an orphanage in Port Au Prince, Haiti. She is a Board Member of Hope Unites, an "international ecumenical organization specializing in humanitarian aid and disaster relief". She also serves on the Board of Education, as Curriculum Chair, for the Kinesio Taping Association.
