Clem has specialized in the treatment and prevention of upper extremity injuries for almost 30 years. She currently has an office in Peotone, Illinois where she utilizes the Washburn Technique to treat individuals with various pain syndromes. She is conducting research on the effectiveness of using Kiensio Taping with the Washburn Technique in treating Graft vs. Host Disease. For over 20 years she has tauht the basics of hand therapy and splint fabrication to students at South Suburban College.
Clem received her degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from South Suburban College in 1979. In 2005, she became a Licensed Massage Therapist receiving her training from the American Bodyworks Institute in Bradley, Illinois. Clem is presently Networking Chair for the Illinois Occupational Therapy Association, and a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor.
