Certified Kinesio® Taping Practitioner
With an ever growing foundation of health professionals working to become certified in the Kinesio® Taping Method, the Kinesio® Taping Association has designed a certification process that will allow dedicated practitioners to earn their designation as a Certified Kinesio® Taping Practitioner (CKTP).
In order to become recognized as a CKTP through the Kinesio® Taping Association the following protocols are required:

Attend and complete the KTA approved KT1, KT2 and KT3 level courses. Please view the Seminar Schedule for approved course description.

After completion of the necessary courses submit a copy of your course certificate with the approved course codes, completed Certification Exam Form and a check or money order in the amount of $99.00 (processing fee) made payable to The Kinesio® Taping Association.

Once the Kinesio® Taping Association has received the required information, we will send you the test required for your certification. The test will be sent via email. Please be sure to provide a valid email address on your request. If you require alternative arrangements, please contact the Kinesio® Taping Association.

Upon submission of your test with the necessary 80% passing grade, the Kinesio® Taping Association will contact you with the results. Individuals may retake the test once at no additional charge.

NOTE: Beginning March 1, the KTA will be implementing a new, 100-question certification test for anyone who has completed the KTA approved KT1-3 courses and is interested in becoming a recognized CKTP through KTAI. This new test is a critical part of attaining our accreditation, which adds a new level of value to your education and certification.
The test will carry a fee of $99 and will feature new material based on an updated course curriculum. Individuals who have taken courses prior to March 1 may not have been exposed to some of the material covered on the test; however, no exceptions will be made for certification tests on or after March 1.
With this said, if you have completed any approved KT1-3 course, regardless of when, you may still take said test; however, the chances of passing this certification exam may be slightly decreased due to new additions and the ever-evolving therapy of the KT Method.
